We are super excited to bring you Issue #13 of Kickin Up Dust Magazine, this listing is for a digital copy, designed and published in Australia.
This is also our third issue for Our 2022 subscription Pack that can be purchased separately!!
Throughout this issue we embark on a quest to unearth extraordinary talent tucked away in some of Australia’s most remote communities. Our sunburned country has a kaleidoscope of untapped talent, and we’d love to highlight each State within these pages.
Amidst these hidden gems, we explore the stunning designs by 'Abigail & Lauren', a Tasmanian artisan who reimagines our iconic Blundstone boots with exquisite embroidered designs.
We are pampered with the divine aromas of 'Simply Grace' in the Far South Coast of NSW, a remarkable entrepreneur who is building her soy candle empire whilst living with Cerebral Palsy.
In the Top End, we have the pleasure of showcasing 4 sisters and descendants of the Kalkatunga tribe who exist in a galaxy of ochre coloured rocks, breathtaking sunsets & glowing gums. They celebrate their aboriginal heritage simultaneously through contemporary indigenous paintings by 'Cungelella Art' and an ethical fashion brand, 'Myrrdah,' that is designed, printed, cut, and sewn here in Australia.
We also immerse ourselves in the nomadic adventures of 'Raising of the Sons', an intrepid family exploring the heart of our incredible country full-time who are currently wandering Western Australia!
Our magazine is a homegrown quarterly publication showcasing the heart of Australia through the eyes of down to earth country folk. Every word and photograph is printed using vegetable dyes on 100% Australian recycled paper. It's a beautiful coffee table style book packed full of stunning images collected from people all over our diverse and exhilarating country.
Each member of our team has poured their heart and soul into each issue and a unique advantage to this magazine is the sense of community it has cultivated throughout the pages of KUD and our online platform.
It's the Australian journal woven together by everyday Australians, for Australians and there's a lot more to come yet!
